There's always some fantastic attention to detail witht he costumes (and hot women, which is doubly-awesome), but i do kind of think, is this just a bit sad?

This is a normal post We all need a hobby and I doubt many people would look on b3tans generally with glowing admiration for time well spent.
If they're having fun and not stirring up hatred for minority groups then who are we to judge.

This is a normal post Thing is a walk the edge of hypocrisy as I spend a fair bit of time around Historical Reenactors
but the things that annoy me with the above bug me in re-enacting as well. Yes you do get people who invest x100s of hours and £ / $ in fashioning amazing detail perfect stuff, then you get some slightly sweaty spod who turns in "armour" made from cut down catering sized olive oil cans, and a cloak stitched together from bits in the waste bin at his local Land of Leather....
