Seriously though, theres no section of transport including pedestrians that are blameless.
However as a car driver if I fuck up my insurance goes up.
You bike riders and pedestrians fuck up you get to donate some organs.
point being, don't fuck up and expect those around you to fuck up so you can react in time.

We all make mistakes when using the roads and, generally, we all adapt our actions to cover for each others mistakes. It is when we fail to do this, that accidents occur. This also happens when we think we are above reproach. A little more humility, contrition and general good thinking would make our roads a whole bunch nicer for everyone.
And on that note, I'm going to go and swear at the stupid bastards who cant use the correct lane on the three/four/five lane roundabouts we have round here, whilst fighting my way into town.
