Gonna need to watch Event Horizon again. Much like TimeCop, StarGate and other high concept 90s sci fi films I can't remember if it's actually any good.

Saw it in the cinema. Any good will it created with the effects it killed with its leaden acting, bad direction and nonsensical plot. The director Paul W S Anderson went on to have a successful career directing cinematic turds that people paid to watch for some reason.
