I dunno man, if you absolutely, positively feel an inescapable yearning for pictures of yourself in the nip (and to what narcissistic end is anyone's guess), there's a simple solution.
Keep your face out of it.
It's not hard, a simple matter of framing, or cropping if required. If these are purportedly for your partner, they will know it's you without having to see your face, as they have already seen you nude, and there's always plausible deniability to anyone else.
I'm not denigrating those who choose to use their smartphones (as tends to be the case) for that purpose, but to use a little aesthetic judgement would go a long way. Not hating, just saying.
