Interesting piece about how bonkers the British left has become - from the New Statesman, so you can't scream Tory MSM.

This is a normal post Yup.
It's like the left has looked at the paranoid right, noticed that the paranoid right seems to be pretty popular, and joined the dots. Nothing good can come of it.

A small bit of economic stress is all it takes for people to begin grasping for simplistic answers being proffered by political extremists.

That's why we get loons like UKIP and Socialist Worker types. Sadly the political middle gets hollowed out and these freaks begin influencing the narrative.

Happened in the UK and it's happening in the US.

This is a normal post ^^^ exactly this
I slag off Corbyn for never talking to anyone who disagrees with him, but let's face it, this is the general rule for everyone. How many trumpites have friends who are pro Clinton? How often do momentum members socially interact (irl or online apart from spewing hate of course) with a Tory or even a working class kipper?
There is an excellent example of the level of delusion in the guardian today. Owen fucking jones interviewing obi wan Corbyn. Corbyn thinks he would win a snap general election. Most of the commenters agree with him. Insanity.

I argued with one of these idiots the other day. Trying to convince me that Trumps policies were closer to Sanders than Clintons, saying Trump's isolationism was similar to Sander's pacifism. It went downhill from there.

Ultimately I expect a few of these twerps will vote for Trump, more will transfer to the Greens but most will vote Democrat.

This is a normal post Well the mainstream including the BBC
has been at his throat since he became leader. I'd be paranoid if I were him. Subscribe to his twitter feed, compare to mainstream reportage and make your mind up.

He dissects the useless misinformation of the twiterati. Fuck, Corbyn was moaning because the bbc didn't cover a parish council by-election. Wtf?

This is a normal post Re by-election I agree, not newsworthy.
I meant if anyone is interested in what Corbyn is doing or saying they should subscribe to his twitter feed. Don't bother with getting it second hand - it's not reliably reported from anywhere by anyone.

This is a normal post As a lefty living in Scotland, I have to admit that the whole Labour kerfuffle baffles me.
Wasn't Corbyn was elected as the leader of the Labour party last year for the fundamental reason that he was the only nominee running on an anti-austerity platform? Labour collapsed in Scotland because only the SNP (and Green) voiced anything resembling an investment strategy whilst Scottish Labour refused to recognise how powerful anti-austerity sentiment was. Vote Leave came out on top because it also tapped into the anti-austerity mood whilst Remain sounded like business-as-usual.

Lots of people in the PLP and MSM didn't like Corbyn for ... I have no idea - he didn't wear a black suit? - so started to agitate against him almost as soon as he was elected. Because said people constantly slated him this because the most visible narrative and, funnily enough, resulted in this upcoming election.

Owen Smith doesn't even sound like a terrible person going by his voting history and despite his past employment as a lobbyist. However, because the PLP coup managed to piss off so much of the Labour Party membership (not only Momentum), he's starting the contest with a massive uphill struggle.

It's an absolute fucking farce, and all the shit is landed inside the house instead of over the road in the Tories' garden where it belongs.

Rambling finished.

yup absolutely spot on, that's Corbyn through and through right there.
ever time I hear him speaking, its those fucking asshole super-villains this, and super-villains that.
For God's sake man, just shut up about the fucking super-villains.

Pathetic supposition full of opinion and void of evidence.

Mr Robbins is a self congratulating tosspot who's desperate for his 'science' buddy Mr Owen (Pfizer) Smith to be head boy.

Oh and if ever there was a Blairite mouthpiece the New Statesman is it.

There was evidence in there. And there's evidence of the delusional shit everywhere you look. But you agree with Corbyn so obviously it's all lies. And that's where the bloody problem is.

There is an obvious bias in the media against him and within elements of the Labour Party who have been briefing against him before the failed coup. To acknowledge that and be angry about it isn't paranoia. How else are you supposed to feel when it seems like democracy is trying to be pulled out from under you?

For me I'm not particularly fussed about Corbyn as a leader, I didn't vote for him to be prime minister, I don't think Labour have a chance at power until they sort their house out and I believe he's the one to do it. When I voted for him last year I believed he would either split Labour or reform it, either one is necessary because Labour have become a block to real progressive politics in this country.

This is a normal post that kind of paranoia isn't exclusive to left wing politics
Just look at the Trump campaign. That article is a bitter opinion piece. Just brushes past the admission that the British press absolutely IS right wing and IS utterly biased as if that wasn't the whole fucking point.

Yeah I know you want to bang on about leftie pinko commie bleeding heart libtards, so go ahead. Did I miss out one of your trigger phrases?

This is a normal post And it's not just Labour who suffers
Arguably the reason we're even facing brexit is because Labour was so up its own arse they couldn't mount an effective campaign to convince THEIR OWN SUPPORTERS to support remain. Corbyn has been a disaster for the party and for the country.
