Not all I'm sure, but it's difficult to explain away the rise of UKIP without accepting that Farage was getting people to vote for his policies.

UKIP got 3.8 million votes in the last general election
That's 12.7% of the electorate.
17.4 million voted in favour of Brexit. It should follow pretty clearly from those figures that not all Brexit supporters are UKIP supporters. Not even a quarter of them are in fact.
