The internet moved on, we didn't.
It's the equivalent of dropping your 13 year old, 3 legged Labrador off in the woods and telling him "Go on boy, you're free now". When you get home the days and weeks pass without incident and then one day, when you're just returning home after a 3 day cyber safety conference in Hamburg Messe, you get that strange feeling that something is watching you from behind. As you turn and look towards the run down old willow tree that's been sat across the street (the one that's kind of manky now but the council haven't done anything about it yet even after that rather stern yet passive aggressive email you sent to the Leytonstone town council clerk) you catch a flash of gold. The same gold of that Lab you once owned. It's quickly shrugged off as a trick of the light, but that night during your meal for one lasagna you're not so sure anymore. You check the window out into the night but there's nothing there. At least you think there's nothing there.......
