How long before you get a false one?

I got my leg on August 3rd just 12 weeks after the op
And have been doing remarkably well on even walking with it on the first day.
There has been some setbacks, with sores in places where it rubs to falls and landing stump first, now that is a real eye water. I can tell you my wife heard several words she hasn't heard for many years.
as for work, I had already been out of work for 18 months due to various issues with it and indeed taking more and more morphine on bigger doses. Gad to say that I don't have morphine anymore and the other pain meds are finished aswell.
Work wise well that's a problem that isn't going to resolve itself soon. I can walk with the leg and probably could do the length of a football pitch but I wouldn't be able to put the leg on again for several days.
