Except that for the interviews on Deep Purple's Concerto for Band and Orchestra, the plummy journalist keeps calling it John Lord's Deep Purple... founding member after all, with Blackmore just being some session guitarist who stuck around.

True story.

so the others must've thought it wasn't Ritchie's band either.
Mind you - he (RB) told me that Ian Paice was not their original drummer so that means there are NO original members. Kinda weird, huh?
