This is a normal post Difficult to discuss without spoiling it
but I will say that it felt like the right way to end it to me.

This is a normal post yeah, I couldn't think of a better out
but it still felt unsatisfying

This is a normal post I thought Vader making a joke completely ruined it. He's evil, no sense of humour.

This is a normal post Were you hoping for an extravagent, star-studded musical number to finish it?
Mind, I've yet to watch, as went out to see it saturday night & Dulwich, Peckham & Clapham had all sold out, as we discovered :/

This is a normal post We had to scum it down the Brighton Marina World of Cine.
Everywhere else in town was sold out.

This is a normal post I was really surprised....

This is a normal post Might be that people from Dulwich, Peckham and Clapham
fancy seeing some swearing and violence...?

This is a normal post Darkest Hour and The Post look vaguely interesting
Will probably have to catch them on telly though as I can't persuade my better half that she wants to see either.

This is a normal post I thought The Post was guaranteed to be great with Spielberg, Hanks and Streep.
It was extremely disappointing. Dull and unengaging. People walked out of the screening I was at.

This is a normal post That was what I feared
The last Spielberg film I watched was Bridge of Spies, which felt strangely flat. As if there was the makings of a good story hidden somewhere in the script, but one that the director didn't quite know how to tell. His attempting to make something that will naturally invite comparison to Spotlight was an interesting move.

I have a bit of a problem with Tom Hanks too. The last film of his that I saw where he wasn't playing "Tom Hanks starring as ..." was probably Apollo 13.

That said, I could happily spend two hours watching Streep reading from the RS Catalogue, so will probably try to catch it at some point.

This is a normal post comfortable folk feel they have little to prove?

This is a normal post I don't lthink the Spotlight comparison works for several reasons. Who's making that comparison?

This is a normal post If this were the ending of a series people would be burning their Netflix
or even posting angry tweets.

This is a normal post Agreed
But it annoys me that she Supermanned her way back onto the ship. And we're weaponising hyperspace now are we?
