cool. i'm gonna sample this. it's a real orchestra by the way.
"The Portsmouth Sinfonia was a real orchestra founded by a group of students at Portsmouth School of Art in Portsmouth, England, in 1970 — however, the Sinfonia had an unusual entrance requirement. Players had to be either non-musicians, or if a musician, play an instrument that was entirely new to them."

Back in the '80s
they released a Hooked On Classics-style single of classical favourites with a clap track backing. Started with this, included Beethoven's 5th, 1812 overture, Hallelujah chorus, etc. Completely excellent and very silly. I must still have it in a box somewhere.

I have an album of theirs
...that I found in a charity shop. Their version of 'Satisfaction' is a joy to behold, as the drummer appears to be playing different music.

This would be what a band made up entirely of people with my natural ability for music would sound like.
After 500 years of practice.

I was literally crying with laughter.

First video I've watched/listened to three times in a row straight, and cackled all the way through.
I love the mentalist improvisation in the last twenty seconds.
Utterly brilliant!
