I've had a couple of ideas
in resurrecting two 80's games into flash. They'd both fit your criteria for the "list" too.

There were so many things I loved about DTS :D
The fact that you could start it loading, go for your dinner, and come back 20 minutes later and it's STILL loading!
And the fact you had no hope in hell of winning the sprint unless you had severe parkinsons.

I'm looking at three
of varying difficulty to code

Colecovisions Looping
Bill Williams Alley Cat
and there was another one called Werewolves of London but I think the map in that may be too unweildly for flash.

I've just got them as aside projects to learn actionscript. But apart from werewolves of london, the first two are basic games, but brilliant.
