i'd absolutely love one
but alas, money.
a friend of mine studied his work a while back and found an interesting article that argued his change in painting style was not completely hinged on his schizophrenia, more to do with the treatment he got from the people who were selling them for him, and putting them on post-cards. He made no money (hence the poor ward in the asylum house he was saved from) and that he was still in contract to produce pictures so started drawing like he did to upset his employers. it seemed a little far-fetched but worth reading if you're interested. i'll see if i can find it.
