Despite the jolly music,
I would imagine they damn near shat themselves every time they did that, seeing as how if they damaged their suits then they'd be in serious trouble.
BECAUSE THE WARDROBE ASSISTANT WOULD HAVE TO RUSH ONTO THE SET TO REPAIR THEM, LOLOLOL WE NEVER WENT THERE ETC.

There was a Soviet mission about 5 years before the Moon landings
in which an astronaut (Alexi Leonov, I think his name was) had a shoddy suit which inflated, so he had to let some air out of his suit. By the time he got back into the spacecraft, his suit was halfway full of sweat.
I'm surprised it wasn't shit.
