This is a normal post Despite the jolly music,
I would imagine they damn near shat themselves every time they did that, seeing as how if they damaged their suits then they'd be in serious trouble.

BECAUSE THE WARDROBE ASSISTANT WOULD HAVE TO RUSH ONTO THE SET TO REPAIR THEM, LOLOLOL WE NEVER WENT THERE ETC.

This is a normal post I, too, liked the music
Beats the Hell out of sound effects and laugh tracks, that's for sure.

This is a normal post There was a Soviet mission about 5 years before the Moon landings
in which an astronaut (Alexi Leonov, I think his name was) had a shoddy suit which inflated, so he had to let some air out of his suit. By the time he got back into the spacecraft, his suit was halfway full of sweat.

I'm surprised it wasn't shit.

This is a normal post Charlie Dukes and John Youngs trip to the moon was described by the Washington Post as "two klutzes on the moon"
Young's first words on stepping out of Apollo 16 were "good lord, look at that hole we almost landed in"
