I remember when I was 16ish, there was an apartment building at the bottom of my street where some lady wanted to kill herself using the gas stove. It was the strangest thing I ever saw: The window broke, and the sound got my attention. Then her curtains and rod blew across the street like someone threw them...and there was a little "pop." Then there was a huge concussion blast with fire blowing up the side of the building from the window...I was more than 80 yards away and it still rattled me good...
