...technically, you can't orally overdose on acid. An effective dose is an effective dose. Whether it's 3 or 30 tabs, it makes no difference. So if he isn't bullshitting, it's not anything special. Just wasteful and a it dim.

It's pretty much impossile to die from ingesting LSD. I think there's one documented case of a guy who injected a hell of a lot of it and died but you could say the same for, I dunno, honey or some such.
I meant 'effective' as in the dose needed to experience psychedelic effects. I think it's somewhere between 25 - 100 micrograms. Anything more is a waste and more of it doesn't mean a more intense/longer experience. Although tolerance is built up very quickly, so larger doses would be needed over time for frequent and regular users to be able to attain a trip.
