Oh the first time I got to watch Star Wars on my big widescreen plasma WITHOUT LUCAS' CGI CUM ALL OVER IT
I squeed like you cannot believe and yes, I was right back there as a lil kid with my Dad's arm around me and seeing it just as I remembered it!

It's not perfect, although they may have done a few updates by now I dunno, but in some scenes they had to do some travelling matte effects to edit out the cgi background shite and sometimes that is a tad obvious around the edges of foreground objects, plus due to the wipes into some scenes that didn't exist in the original a few despecialised scenes are ever so slightly shortened, and in some bits the sound isn't quite right, but none the less, fucking lovely effort!

You can get the other two films too btw, I havent as yet checked them out 'cos for me the first one was always the only one I really cared about, but it would be nice to see them the same way, too, sometime.

Then I can stick them in my blu ray Boxset my mate got me for Xmas and chuck away the ones that came with it, LOL!
