It has never been a event to go to casually
there is really very little support for those who show up - yes, there is some medical and such, but you do need to plan and take what you will need to live on for the length of your stay in potentially very harsh conditions! (Unless you are very rich and can pay for an "instant Burning Man Experience" that has been rumored to exist.)
