Spends a lot of time with his hands out of sight doesn't he?
It's a polished act, but as a result of his hands constantly disappearing, at no point was I wondering how the balls appeared, which is kind of the point.

Penn and Teller's version with the clear glasses is better even though they're showing you how it's done

I love that routine, absolutely brilliant idea of telling you how it's done but doing it in such a way to leave you clueless.
There was a chap who used to do it with ball bearings so that you could hear them clanking around. Can't remember his name at the moment.
