Would that be a suitable book to start on?
Need to look up a good reading order for him.
Some writers it vital to read the books in order.

It's really good, i was looking after a friends flat a while back, picked up American Gods and found it hard to put down.
Really clever book and lots of fun, i'd only read Good Omens prior to reading it.

Well that convinced me to give amazon some money
If it's anywhere near as good as good omens should be well... good.

you can skip around with Gaiman as he covers different genres well
his kids books Coraline and the Graveyard Book are lovely little bedtime stories (about being dead and stuff)

Cheers, see above.
Will give that a go then see about the others.
Kids books should be creepy.
All the safe pasteurized crap these days is no good.
Roald Dahl had the right idea.
