which doesn't show up in dictionaries, but you'll notice it immediately if you go to a record store or look at some r+b or hip hop music online. A capella tracks released on albums and singles are just the isolated vocal track(s) of a studio session. The way the youtube upload is titled makes it look like that's the sense they intended.

Isn't it an isolated vocal track somebody has got hold of, and dubbed over a tv performance which had the song in its entirety? His movements suggestto me that there was backing music involved.

I haven't listened to the original for a while, but the performance here sounds exactly like the recorded version, so I'd guess it's that vocal track dubbed over the video.
