Not saying it isn't true, like, just that it may be a bit early to start rushing around disposing of all traces of his life.

One of the things that has been really obvious in a lot of the news reports, actually, is that no one is even faintly surprised, which isn't a shock considering all the rumours that have been around for years. Still pretty shocking that everyone in showbiz/broadcasting can know for decades that you're a wrongun, and no one does anything about it, though.
