This is a link post Interview with Mark Grist
Mark Grist is a poet, promoter and former teacher but also the unlikely public face for Don’t Flop, the UK rap battle organisation, after his battle with 17 year old rapper Blizzard went viral. To date, he’s had well over two million views and, since the video was released in December of last year, has toured the country with his Dead Poets show.

mark's solo show was called something else... :D

i was in a show in the same tiny venue as them in the fringe in 2010. they're wicked and very nice guys too! they also indirectly inspired me to jack in my awful job.

Really very charming and genuine seeming. Always have to say 'seeming'. He could of course be a proper knob in private (though I doubt it :)

i've pinted with him quite a few times and he's well affable. so is his compadre mixy. well nice guys and having chatted to them before and after the youtube sensation thing they're much the same. :D
