This is a normal post so do I. Why do people hold their fork in their right when they aren't using a knife then hold it in the left when they are using a knife?

I'm primarily right handed and it makes sense.

"The proper way" is fork left, knife right but when using just one piece of cutlery you use your most agile hand, that's natural.
