I thought the whole point was that they were "improvised". Otherwise it's just a "bomb".

arent the "explosives" mostly gas canisters for cookers. basically calling them explosives makes me think of C4 and potassium nitrate or dynamite. gas canisters do explode, obviously, they are not as hi tech as the terminology implies is what im getting at.

Much of the explosive comes from the ordinance left lying around (mines, shells etc).
Plus menthol mints and coca-cola mixed together.
