300 kph is about 180 mph...
...which I have done on the autobahn - but at about 8 o'clock on a sunday morning. It was perfectly straight and totally empty, until just after I hit 183mph, at which point a car on the horizon pulled into my lane.
Over 160mph, most cars take on the characteristics of an aeroplane wing, and the front wheels start lifting, so you have bugger all steering, and only two wheels that'll do any braking.
Standing on the brakes at 180+ is f*cking petrifying. Take my word for it.
These guys are insane.
