This is quite amazing, a wild dolphin seemingly "asking" divers for assistance after becoming entangled in a fishing wire and hook. I've not been round these here parts much for a few days so apologies if it's Silica Penis.
Although I couldn't give a fart really.

that was ace - most animals in distress are too stupid to understand you're trying to help them.

but it certainly looks like it. It's actually staying still while the guy cuts it free. Mind you my dog did the same thing when she got a fishing hook in her paw last summer, she lay down in front of me and held her paw up so I could take it out.

even it it's already injured, it will either attack you or at least attempt to do a runner. The dolphin went up for air and then came back, even though whatever it thought they were doing may have hurt.

Maybe he wasn't actually bothered that much and was just being friendly. Anthropomorphism is a powerful thing. Not forgetting it was those stupid humans who put that shit in the water to start with.
