Are you new to the Carpenters?
My parents were big fans and had all the albums, as kids we hated it. Later on I realise they produced a lot of good stuff.

No, I just forget.
I don't really go for the "Top of the World" or "Sing a song" stuff, but when she sings this or "Hurting Each Other" I stop and listen. What a voice!
