It's true though- have you ever read a "grown-up" book?
Rather than sat crossed-legged in your pissy jogging bottoms, laughing manically whilst shovelling trifle into your spitty mouth & trying desperately not to colour-in over the lines?

Hurrr huuurrrr.....
Seriously though, yes, I have read many books with more than 100 pages and with no pictures, and I am not referring to the ones you consider academic, Cartland, Jilly Cooper et al. No, actual real books, I just re read Homage to Catalonia (Orwell) and Laurie lees Spanish Civil war memoirs, had a Spanish civil war itch for some reason. Currently reading a Sebastian Faulks novel for the first time, bit of a tome really. I am in fact quite well read.
