Nothing prior to 2000?!
It was pretty much all over bar the shouting by then, the rest was hardware evolution and refinements.

I think you're on to something there.
Isn't 2000 roughly the time when programmable shaders became the norm?

Not only that,
but only Nvidia GPU demos are included.
It's one thing to concentrate on the evolution of 'real time' PC graphics (rather than including non-'real time' or non-PC platforms), but limiting it to a single manufacturer's hardware and a selected period of time is hardly representative.

I haven't watched it,
but according to the intro, it's all running on Nvidia hardware, which, to my mind, means that it ignores the driving force behind the evolution during the selected time period, which was the competition between the different GPU manufacturers.

What no Elite, Doom, Wolfenstein or Quake?
Did complex shaders just magically pop out of someones backside?
Were Henri Gouraud and Bui Tuong Phong not about in the 70's doing ground breaking work? Why yes they were!
