He's the guy who did stuff for that film where everyone dies in the end, amongst others.

That's the first time I've seen physical stuff that competes with what computers can do (or obviously will do soon). And physical is obviously better if it can be done at a competitive price.

But the anti-CG comments piss me off. Especially since I've worked on a couple of the films shown there where we've replaced the animatronics with CG because the animatronics didnt' hold up. No one technique is better. The skill (for the director) is choosing where to use what.
