This is a normal post Games are £40 these days
Sometimes less.
And something like this will probably last you 15 or so hours - much more if you play the multiplayer bit.

This is a normal post Precisely my point
I want a game to last about 200-300 hours through about 4 replays to get my attention. The Crysis games are very pretty (and nicely put together) but horrifically short. When you've got the likes of Dark Souls, Skyrim, hell even the new XCom showing that a game can be huge, these episodic shooters just feel like a rip off - Bioshock was good but extend the format, stop just copying it.

(Multiplayer on these 'tech' shooters are also very much an acquired taste... one I grew out of at about Quake 2)

This is a normal post An example of moneys worth
Call of duty black ops 2: Currently at 37p per hour (Still playing daily)

Dark Knight Cinema: £3.20 per hour

Not taking into account that anyone I know can come and play my copy of BO2, where as the cinema is for me and me only, and that I may be be to trade/sell my copy of BO2 and reduce the end cost.

This is a normal post I wouldn't want to add up all the hours spent on the Call of Duty series
I've been playing since the first (That's COD1, not COD4 to you young-ens), and put it this was I've already logged 118 Hours on BO2 alone.....

That's with a full time job and a family to distract me, I don't sleep much. When I was playing COD1/2 i was dossing about at Sixth form and college!

you should be. That and Sim City 2000 (onwards) have deprived me of an awful lot of my non-drinking time. Plus there is the potential that we might learn something.

This is a normal post Legend of Grimrock from the last HumbleBundle is eating away my time currently.
It's an update of the old grid-based Dungeon Master games, with an editor, so there's lots of (excellent) user content out too...

One of the best indie games i've every played.
It's surpassed Civ5 in amount of time played now.

Nah, I don't really want to spend £40 and then get repeatedly called a 'jew faggot' by strangers.

If I'm spending that kind of money to be abused, I'd expect a handjob at the very least.

And they last 2 hours. So films are even worse value. Unless you get a epic in the bargain bin.

This is a normal post How free roaming is this game?
I liked the first one for the feeling you could go anywhere but found the second a bilt constrained.
Like moving from one arena to another.

Also will my GTX580 be able to keep up on pretty settings?

This is a normal post Never played the first one
didn't have a good enough rig. I'm upgrading in the next few months and will be sure to have this on my list of must haves. The benchmarks on the 580 are pretty good, I reckon it'll plod along nicely...

The first Crysis is probably the best FPS I've ever played. Slightly dated now, but still looks amazing and you can just approach it in so many ways. Christina Hendriks.

Second Crysis by comparison was utter piss. Console style save points, linear play, shit plot, simplified physics. Blatantly the 'design committees' at EA took over and raped the life out of it. Superficially it was pretty but it felt very flat and dull. Paris Hilton.

If the 3rd one is also due for console release I'm willing to bet it's going to be more of Crysis 2. Shame really.

Sorry, rant over...
