We tried to put a video camera ABOVE the bonfire this year, but failed. We did get some footage from inside the bonfire again, and while it wasn't as impressive/moving as last year's effort, we also get some footage of the fireworks that contains a wee surprise that I know you chaps will appreciate; check out what happens after the explosion at 2:26

The view from the top of the bonfire is so very unsettling, what with the masses of people standing round you top a heap of wood holding flaming torches.

last years one was like being joan of arc but without the pain and smell of yourself cooking. being burned by a crwod of kids too. grim. (and very cool)
