It looks like petrol is about 3p/litre in Venezuela.

either way, I think we'll agree it's:
a) very cheap, and
b) probably still not worth the trip just to fill up

looks about right for venezuela.
i think since the 80's they keep it low for plastics production. (that and they have their own that they tax the crap out of on export)
