My Dinosaurs are on Amazon Prime Video
I made this!
I had no idea you could get stuff on Amazon Prime video, but it turns out that you can, through Amazon Video Direct. Anyway, I've put Dinosaurs: Terrible Lizards on there, and it seems to be working and stuff. Have a look if you like. I'm super-interested to see if anyone watches it- I have no idea how the algorithm works and everything, but it's probably a bit like everything else in that engagement helps push it up the list, so if you fancy rating it with a trillion stars then that would probably be really lovely of you.
Happy to discuss my experience of this platform and how it goes if people are interested- I'm intrigued to see whether it gets watched and stuff. You get pretty good stats by the looks of things, though it is currently all on 0 of course.
Or maybe nobody else is interested in which case I will happily never mention it ever again.

in knowing if it costs money (apart from prime) and how exactly you got your video uploaded, the wife makes animations and I reckon she would want them up there.

you just register and upload
it does need subtitles doing, and a bit of art work, but those are not prohibitively difficult to sort.
Other than that, piece of cake. You can also choose the non-prime distribution stuff, it's selectable.
I think they check everything and refuse things that don;t meet their standards (decency etc is pretty tight I think).
