This is a link post Off to SIlverstone tomorrow to see Marc Marquez sliding like a boss.

This is a normal post Now now! Motorbikes regularly overtake each other, and you don't have to put in artificial refuelling stops to make it look exciting. Also if you want entertainment, skip to 2:45!
Not to mention you can buy a 180mph car for about £80,000 but a bike with much better acceleration and a higher top speed for less than £10k. Oh, and you can use it in Central London traffic too!

This is a normal post Yeah, saw this. Basically he pretty much lost it, landed on his side and apparently the rear wheel actually left the tarmac.
So he OPENED THE THROTTLE! Pah, laws of physics? more a guideline really

This is a normal post 125s is the best racing bikes wise
Bikes more or less the same, ridden by hungry fearless teenage nutters. 3 bikes abreast on the corners and lead swaps several times a lap not uncommon.

This is a normal post did you watch the norton roatarys when they raced the 500's?
incredible sound from a pack of 500 gp machines , and then this howl from the 2 roatarys , you could close your eyes and still tyell where they were on the track just from the noise of the crowd and the sound of those two rotarys.

great times indeed.
the marlborough girls in skinny lycra dishing fags out and massive sunburn made the ride home hurt like hell but what a high that day was

While I don't absolutely disagree with you, 125s disappeared from the GP scene a few years ago. Moto3 bikes are all single cylinder 250cc 4 strokes, not 125cc 2 strokes. The only place you will see 125s now is in club races, Irish road races and some of the Motostar entries in BSB.
Marquez is a phenomenon. He's won virtually every MotoGP race that he's entered and he's still not much more than a kid. Worse than that, he says his younger brother is better than he is!
