What is happening?
I noticed the affectation this year and now that I noticed it's bugging the living piss out of me. The drive to keep prating, the stuttering, the affected stammering as place setter, in order to keep vocalizing while still organizing thoughts. This man does it throughout, but I do hear it everywhere. Usually glottal stops to repeat the word "I" to begin before ready, to avoid dead air time. "I think" becomes, "I-I-I think..." and "it should becomes "i-i-i-it should..." and so forth. The stops actually puncture the ear drums. It's driving me mad. It is an affectation. Compare the hesitations throughout the Reject Mainstream Media, and learn the truth! upload by PhosphorBurnedEyes where the young man avoids repetition with pauses while he sorts what he is saying or reading. Genuinely smart people sounding like retards by their affectation and making genuinely handicapped persons sounding much smarter by comparison. Not just here, but everywhere dead air is considered a first sin. Honestly, I'd much rather have the moment of dead air than the stuttering.
And by the way, very nice vid. Good job.
