This is a normal post This.
In my opinions saying somthing like 'I hardly ever get angry and shout at people' is fucking ridiculous.

The fact is that most countries are in a pretty shitty situation, and I think that calls for some shouting and abuse. If things go tits-up at any other company, the owners would get all pissed off with people, and that's why it works. If Churchill has flounced around instead of giving people a good bollocking, we'd all be in a very different situation.

In fact, shouting at people to get things done is so successful, it's been utilised by every single species on earth since the beginning of time.

Who was it exactly that decided as soon as we became 'civilized' that being angry was suddenly not allowed? because whoever that person was deserves a punch in the testicle/ovary.

I give it 5 years tops, and BBC news will be doing this. ITV news more likely 6 months...

This is a normal post It just annoys me though
Nothing has been proven, Radio 4's been all over this. It's just Chinese media trying to be big and clever, and playing it like a big joke. It's a serious allegation against a person who runs the country and I've heard enough over the years about Chinese government officials abusing their subordinates. The difference here would be that if anybody made light about that in China they'd go missing

This is a normal post Standard format of Chinese news:
Here are our leaders, working hard
Here are the people, they are happy
Here is abroad, Chaos.

This is HK though, not mainland, there are still big differences in the media between the two.

This is a normal post a valid point
but Churchill did things that were, you know, good

If Churchill made a video appearance on the you tube even the vaunted you tube plebs would stand back and say "I say, jolly good carry on!"
(, Tue 23 Feb 2010, 22:02, Reply)
This is a normal post I know - it is a bit crass
But my point is really to point out that some of the things that he seems to be being criticised for are things that are quite unfair (your post suggested he was inappropriate because of unproven allegations about him having depression and a temper). For instance, after Blair we wanted a PM who wasn't as media savvy and spin obsessed, but then Brown gets slammed for not being as media savvy - see the fallout from his odd smile on that youtube video for an example.

In fact, with the way the media are becoming increasingly personal about attacking him, I think it would be a reasonable argument to claim that the media are bullying Brown, which seems a bit ironic at the moment.

PS. I wouldn't vote for Labour in the next election for a number of reasons, I just think the level of hatred towards Brown is totally out of kilter with his actions/omissions as PM. And with that I withdraw from politics based discussion.
