A smile happens when you're happy
and thats not a smile, thats a submission thing that dogs do. mine does it when he's been told off and wants to be friends again.

It's happy
My dogs ears fold back and his tail wags when I greet him, much like that dog. Except for the smiling thing. He does make strange noises though.
