It's made all my Irish friends (and me) very angry.

This is one of the many reasons why Catholicism and their belief system should be outlawed.

To be fair
while the insidious Catholic culture of our past does lie at this things roots, it's a political failure going back years, scared right-wing governments unwilling to do anything, repeated weakly worded, piss-poor referenda (we love those fuckers over here, government blames public, or vica-versa, if anything fucks up as a result; no-one wins) leading to inertia.
This woman's horrific death has hit a nerve, and a planned demo and march on the Dáil (parliament) on Saturday will hopefully be huge, with no cunts coming to get nasty or violent, that's all we need for the hand-wringing moral fuckwits.
Talking here to other readers rather than OP, methinks. Off now for a fag and a calm down.
