Considering you're probably the creator, have you fixed it this time?
You had two sequels to get it right and every time my duckling comes close to maxing out, the game has sped up to become unplayable.

You have a front page on Kongregate, You don't need to be spamming us shirley.
Incidentally, the game is irritatingly addictive, and I'm not exactly sure why...

How's it spam on /links?
I know I'm not a regular /links person but surely you can post stuff here you've made too? It's just a flash game...if it was "hey guys come to my other forum" or "buy my stuff" then fair enough, but this is just a game...

Stanley Unwin + Carry on. Wan Seal
Not wishing to be morbid and all, but Mum had a mini stroke this a.m. and started talking very much like Stanley Unwin. The whole f.a.s.t. thing showed up nothing but she didn't realise she was talking gobble de gook. This is weirdly a good pointer if you think you're going mad when someone does this but their face isn't drooping etc. And Unwin was a great innovator so worth an excuse.
She's okay at the mo by the way. So, same as f.a.s.t.. Catch em quick and get them sorted even if they actually think you are the one who makes no sense ( anyone else experience this too?)
Right, I'll feck off and I'll be having none of your maudlin good wishes. I'm now going to indulge in a stiff one, followed by a strong drink.

My Grandad had a stroke,
He ended up a little like that. He talked in opposites, "No" meant yes etc. I think the actual term is called 'Aphasia'. It means that the brain makes the wrong links in language, if it's any help it can right itself naturally but it's quicker with therapy.
Hope she get's better soon.

Celtic Manager Neil Lennon chinned by Hearts fan.
Don't know why he did it or really care. I just wonder why he did the dramatic leap in the air to actually hit him. People like this make me piss, it's a game. Other fans wind me up and I do it to them but it's no more than that, why some people go further I'll never know.

What the fuck is going on up there?
I know Celtic v Rangers has always been a Catholic v Protestant conflict by proxy, but why has it suddenly flared up so much? And why is Lennon in particular copping so much of it?

Lennon's always been a bit of a hate figure
He's got a fair temper on him, and he was never the most gracious of players.
I doubt the attack had much to do with sectarianism - Hearts fans tend to care a lot less about that kind of thing than, say, Rangers fans

ehrm...Sir, i think you will find that...
Those fucking smelly dirty Jambo wankends frequently sing sectarian songs , wave unionist flags, salute with the red hand of Ulster to the point where: due to their smaller size of club (as opposed to Rangers) they have now commonly become referred to as ..."The Diet Huns"
Edinburgh's other team "HIBERNIAN" has strong Irish roots but has emancipated itself from any of that bigoted shite displayed by the Jambo's and Huns etc...unfortunately in spite of all the subtitled French films , poetry reading & fine wine the Hibernian fans so often indulge in...the team on the park are hopeless.... alas

well
Essentially Rangers and Celtic supporters have been winding each other up for decades only now it's got to the point where certain people seem to be taking it a step further by being all mad and nutty about things by sending bombs, smashing up players cars, sending threats, etc. To make matters worse the clubs have started accusing the SFA of being biased and corrupt which is being reported in the media in the usual "aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh" type of way. This is then being picked up by the total nutjob supporters and it's now snowballing out of control as a result. The media who are the ones doing the criticising are also, ironically, just as responsible for stoking the flames.
It would help greatly though if Managers and club staff kept their mouths shut when poked with a stick by journalists trying to and usually succeeding in making them say something inflammatory.

Its all gone a bit to far hasnt it?
I am an FA and KNVB (Dutch FA) qualified ref and ref top level amateur football and I would be scared to be out on the pitch as a ref or lino in Scottish FA football. I think its a total disgrace what has gone on and on for years in Scotland, this season its just boiled on and on. I dont support any of them and I am an Atheist so the religion card means nothing to me too. I just see thugs off and on the pitch spoiling for a fight. In this day and age of where football is at in most of the world its a disgrace.
I would really like UEFA to step in and remove the licence for the Scottish FA. Ban them from Europe for a few years, also the Reffs could play a part in hurting the clubs that want to carry on this shit.
Here is the lines from the FIFA manual which is also viable for UEFA competitions.
"a decision to stop or not to stop a match due to spectator interference or any problem in spectator areas" - so basically if the crowd start the sectarian chanting the ref should blow the whistle and gather the linos and walk to the dressing room. Game Over and report made to the FA to explain why.
Also reffs have the ultimate cover all rule.
"a decision to abandon a match for whatever reason"
Imagine a build up to an old firm game - all the bullshit in the press, all the usual build up. On match day the teams get on the pitch and just about to start when the ref decides the two sides have been antagonising each other all week so he think its not a sporting occasion and he abandons the game. Imagine the uproar it would cause! the TV companies would go mental at having no game to broadcast, hopefully lean on the FA more to take harsher action.
The only way to stop this is to fine and enforce bans and employ more people to watch the CCTV and get the idiots arrested and banned for life from every ground in Europe.
Bit of a rant but this kind of rubbish has no place in "my" football ;)

But I was wearing my ref's hat (oh shit I wasn't - a ref is not allowed to wear a hat under any condition) but yeah I agree Scottish football is not up to much. Maybe that's why they have this sub game of sectarian violence going on?

Sorry, it is *your* football.
You chose to get actively involved in what is, to all intents and purposes, tribal warfare.
The *only* difference here is that the Scottish supporters are more vocal and open about it.

Not been to many amatuer football games then?
Normally the worst thing to happen is that the away team only buy me a half and not a pint after the game!
Yes in the 10 years I have been doing this I have been called all the names under the sun and a couple of times threatened but most of the times reminding the player that I am in charge and will take action stop it all.
Action for hitting a ref would be an automatic 3 year ban from all KNVB sanctioned football and a fine, also the whole club would probably get a ban, if not the offending team. I have seen football clubs driven out of business because their fans attacked a ref. If a club is banned the members wont pay subs so they have no money.

I haven't came down on one side or the other yet - there's pros and cons to both sides
The video's definitely worth a watch though
Even if you don't agree with the idea in principle, it's good to see Mel Gibson and the horrible 'Scotland homecoming' campaign getting the slagging they deserve. Also, it contains the 'It's shite being Scottish' scene from Trainspotting. What's not to love?

Discussing country borders
from a "good" and "bad" perspective is probably useless. Nationhood has much more to do with feelings and relationships than it has with either positive or negative values.
You could have asked the same of the act of union itself, and gotten the same unintelligible answers.

There's a lot more to it than just feelings
I think that underestimates the issue somewhat. There's many sound economic reasons both for and against separation from the Union, which could be classed as "good" or "bad". Also not sure where these "unintelligible" answers are coming from - care to elaborate?

Fine, beneficial then, from any perspective except nationalism (so economic etc)
The number one benefit for Scotland and Britain if Scotland leave the union.
Nationalism should be abandoned as a political tool, and preferably as a concept altogether except in the context of history lessons.
It's is outdated and makes me unreasonably angry, especially when used as a reason for anything in political discourse. It's BOLLOCKS.

The SNP (the main party in favour of independence) aren't a Nationalist party, by the way
SNP stands for 'Scottish National Party,' not 'Scottish Nationalist Party.' Alex Salmond has said that Scottish people include those living in Scotland who think of themselves as Scottish - there's absolutely no Nationalism at play here. Accusations of such are often flung to muddy the waters

The benefits for Scotland's easy
Control of it's own economy, not being dragged into unnecessary wars, and not being ruled by a Tory-led government no-one in Scotland voted for (only 1 Tory MP in the whole of Scotland, and that's down in the borders)
As for the benefit to Britain as a whole, well, that's a lot less tangible. On the one hand, Westminster would no longer receive North Sea Oil Revenue, but on the other hand, it would resolve the West Lothian question. I suppose the benefits all depend on your perspective

Lothian question should not really be discussed in this debate
and certainly not used as a reason for Scotland to bog off out of Britain. If it is serious enough then it can be resolved with Scotland remaining in Britain.

Which is depressing since if scotland left us then i guess the tory proportion of the 'british' vote would go up.

Hahaha, this is probably the most convincing argument against independence
I'd hate to leave the rest of the country in the hands of the Tories for the next hundred years
Like I say, as a Scotsman myself, I'm not fully decided either way, but I can see the merits in both positions

I liked that :) I apologize for the following rant ha.
I've sort of altered my stance on this over the last few years. I regard my self as British, as I have family and heritage from all over the island as well as Ireland. And so it used to annoy me quite a lot when Scottish friends would say "I'm not British I'm Scottish", given the political, geographical, historic and migratory relationship we have in the here and now, I've softened to that personal identity choice now though, after all I'm technically English but I don't place much emphasis on it out of my own choice. But yeah, currently I cant see any real political or economic argument which clinches it either way to justify or oppose an immediate break in the union; other than just the whim of the populace (its self the only justification you need).
I like the fact I have connections across our islands, that wont change whether the union breaks or not, I do worry however about the strength of the Labour party vote in England though, so thats probably my main concern about independence.
I think the issue needs to be seen in a much broader context, and thats the problem with independence movements, by their nature theyr'e far too provincial, it doesn't take into account the fluid and complex relationship individual regions from, Country Derry to Kent, have. England is a massive country with a huge populace, its self far more diverse than any broader differences you can find between Scotland and England etc. I think it's best to see governance issues like this in terms of population sizes. So if you break the union down to the individual regions, say Yorkshire which has a bigger economy and larger population than Scotland, or even the Republic of Ireland, you could argue that Yorkshire or the south west have as much right to self determination as the Welsh or Scottish do. So why not have a situation where we have more devolution (real devolution unlike what was proposed back in 2004) break up the disproportionate swing the south east of England has (to be made worse under an English only Parliament). Have semi-autonomous regions handling their affairs in ways which work best for them, overseen by a PR elected Federal Government. Scotland gets the powers it deserves, as do the rest of the regions. The Tories wont get the disproportionate power that they wield over everyone, but still get the majority power they deserve in the regions that typicaly vote for them. The economy stays the same (probably improving for each region), Foreign Affairs stay the same etc. Under that system every one is happy, we still have the cultural economic and 'emotional' links to each other. And infact it would move the independance issue away from a be all or end all choice towards one that is much more centered on the economic etc facts.

That's probably not a good discussion to start
how many hobbies, interests, skills, call them what you will, fall into that category? Photoshopping pics for B3ta comps is definitely in the good-but-useless category. Great skill and technique involved, takes lots of practice to become good at it, will amuse a few people, but ultimately useless.
As an owner of a few yo-yos, juggling balls, etc. I happily fall into that category too.

Don't agree with that at all.
It's not like Wikileaks simply gets info and then sells it on, they have to painstakingly make sure that each document is legit and then redacting personal info. Sure it may be a high valuation, but they're the ones taking risks against what are effectively nation states and their security services.
In it's simplest terms it's only slightly different from an investigative journalist protecting his hard work against unauthorised publication (plagiarism).

Well...
... Don't you find the idea of placing such an extensive (and unenforceable) gagging order on the employees of an organisation that is supposedly devoted to the dissemination of information just a little bit, um, ironic?
Don't you think that it stinks that Wikileaks presents itself as working pro bono publico at the same time as explicitly spelling out its commercialism (as in para. E(a) of the document)?
Don't you wonder how they can be so sure that all their information has a market value of £12m?
( , Wed 11 May 2011, 19:36, Share, Reply)

1st point - No, not at all. Doing what they do, and employing people to do it while ensuring their safety, isn't free.
2nd point - I would take a guess that part of their need to turn to commercialisation, other than their own living costs etc., would be "persuading" potential whistle blowers to blow their whistles (look at Bradley Manning) while also having enough financial clout to guarantee that they themselves have a formidable legal backup when necessary.
3rd point - I'm wearing a pair of jeans that I really like, I don't want to lose them... if YOU wanted to buy them off me I wouldn't take any less than £15 billion. Don't like my overinflated valuation for a pair of £90 Papfar jeans? Tough shit. Although to make my analogy fit more accurately; these jeans are one-of-a-kind, potentially contain evidence for the deaths of XX amount of people and the CIA, KGB and MI5 all would love to steal them themselves and burn them.
( , Wed 11 May 2011, 19:49, Share, Reply)
I accept it's not free
and they possibly do have to sell their information to stay afloat. However, that's somewhat at odds with their representation of themselves as disinterested defenders of the public good; it means that they're simply a kind of information broker - a middleman between the person who has the information, and the person who wants it. (Does Wikileaks give the people who leak them information a dividend based on its value? I'm not sure. If they do, then they are basically a brokerage - which is fine, but they should be upfront about it. If they don't, then it looks like they're horrible exploitative of the people who actually take the risks.)
Now, they might want to charge to provide legal cover and so on; but presumably, that'd be factored into the price that they charge the media outlets to which they sell information. It's not obvious why it'd justify a gag on employees. In rather the same way, a shopkeeper will want to insure against theft, and the price of this insurance will be part of the cost paid by the consumer. She wouldn't normally have to threaten employees with a strangely precise and undiscriminating bond of their own in addition.
And in respect of your DNA-laced jeans analogy: well, if I don't want to pay your price, I don't have to. I'm assuming you don't want to sell them, so you can set any notional price you want. Wikileaks, on the other hand, presumably does want to sell what it has. By appealing to the market value, though, that means that they lose any entitlement to dictate the price. They can try to, as would any other seller; but in the end, information (or any other good) is only worth what people are willing to sell. And you don't know what that'll be in advance.
Also, you pay too much for your trousers.

There are finacial imperatives and moral imperatives
I doubt very much the average journalist is motivated by their morals.
Hope fully wikileaks is trying to make a difference and correct injustices and tell the truth, not something I would expect from a journalist.

Huh?
But if Wikileaks really is acting pro bono publico, why force its employees to sign a gagging order with a £12m price tag? I mean, wouldn't it make more sense for those with access to a given piece of information to be informed of the strategy for its release, so that the moral high ground could be occupied by Wikileaks whatever happened? (That is: wouldn't an explanation to employees of what's what and what's at stake be much more in keeping than issuing them with legal threats?)
And if Wikileaks is acting wholly for moral rather than commercial reasons (not that I see how the two necessarily conflict), then why stress the commercial value of the information and the financial loss to Wikileaks as rationales for the gagging order?

This video taught me an important lesson...
When you live in flats and the flat upstairs is occupied by a black family, make sure your speakers are not set to fuck-off loud before opening a video of a man shouting niggers.

Who is that person and why is everyone so sure he's a terrorist?
This looks like fake to me anyway.
Working on the basis that this is real, how do we know he's a terrorist? He could be a Libyan rebel. Its a good guess that he is Islamic because of the other people shouting but I don't think you can really go any further than that.
