This guy just has a gimmick and an hidden agenda of wanting to flog more pizzas, i fail to see how that's a good thing and he can be allowed to run on the back of such a thing.
I'm not saying all politicians are good, this guy is a fucking joke though, people like him are turning politics into something like Britain Has Got Talent.
Also, using as an example a politician who fucked up royally is a bit cheap.

In an ideal world
the film makers craft allows you to switch that part of your brain off, but you can't ignore and disregard things you have seen before entirely. That is one of the things I love about watching films. However this had 'jolts' in it that took me out of that imaginative space and just made me go 'meh'. But you are right on the enjoy or don't like, we all like different things.
But don't presume I don't watch films with an empty mind or I will have to kill (list) you.

I'm inclined to agree.
I think it's really well directed, shot etc... but ultimately it falls underneath its attempt to be clever with ambiguity. I'm not sure recognising influence is much of a compliment in that regard... it doesn't do anything new with said influences. Too much emphasis on improvisation too, I think. The script really needed steering into shape to give the audience a bit more payoff.
But yeah, in terms of it having been made by somebody from here, amazing.

Ha, that's a good analogy towards it, but I don't agree
ads are on lol. had to come back.
I think it's all in the mood of the film, why I enjoy it is the ways the moods shift around, the story makes that happen right to the end. Not many films are so brave these days, it makes a really nice change to see. Plus it looks really nice.

Easily one of the better Horror films I've seen in recent times.
The sense of dread that runs throughout is unbearable at times and the film as a whole stayed with me for days. The fact that the end was relatively open was a masterstroke, it allows you try and fill in the blanks yourself which in itself is a brilliant scare device. It's that sense of the unknown that creeps you out even further.
Fucking brilliant film.

Children of the Seventies, remember these?
For some reason 'Wildergorn' entered my head earlier, and a moment later, this turned up after a google. When we weren't climbing trees, playing soccerball outside our houses on the pavement (when people were less anal about their cars), we did stuff like colour in posters that were a bit far out when it rained.
Lovely and completely unexpected to see Wildergorn still around after all this time :)

I've bought several art-apps and a stylus for my ipad and I swear that all I ever seem to draw is trogdor.

Hollywood Palace 1967
The lovely Herb Alpert with the lovely Burt Bacharach and a plethora of stars of the time in an ace tribute (including the sublime Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66) If you fancy a slice of cheese with your Saturday night?

Hahaha
Unexpected mental adverts at the end :)
I used to DJ a mixture of lounge/Brazilian music in decades gone by. If you can still find them, the Mojo Club compilations pretty much epitomised my sound, though the label has long since died. Mr Bongo's Brazilian Beats were excellent as well, though they to have folded.

An article I can actually understand from this publication for once
We get this every week (£10 an issue) and I flick through it and am generally left scratching my head.
Just like Nature
