I guess it's whether or not you consider a person's facebook page private property?
If he'd interrupted the memorial service doing that and shouting 'how about that you squaddy cunts' I don't think an arrest would be disproportionate. But isn't viewing somebody's facebook page consensual anyway? I mean, it's not like they're pretending to be somebody else?
This is becoming a worrying trend.

I think interrupting a public service can quite easily count as public disorder.
Facebook is as close to public disorder as wearing an offensive t-shirt

This is very worrying
It was a protest (of sorts) against a group rather than an individual, using a symbol of that group.
This could be the same for crosses, American flags, effigies of politicians or fucking Marmite! If you don't like something you should be allowed to say that you don't like it and do things to show you don't like it. You are not allowed to tell lies about the thing you don't like and you are not allowed to do anything to impede the people who do like it but in this case that did not happen.

Buffalo Girls - Official Trailer.
NSFW
***WARNING: Contains Children Fighting, NSFW For That***
This is shocking, here's the brief:
Buffalo Girls tells the story of two 8-year-old-girls, Stam and Pet, both professional Muay Thai prizefighters. Set in small villages throughout rural Thailand, the film chronicles these young girls' emotional and sometimes heartbreaking journey as they fight in small underground arenas to win prize-money to help provide for their families.

No worse than a beauty pageant then?
If fact I would go so far is it's better than a pageant as this at least has some positive aspects.
Maybe some are but those two girls seemed to enjoy it and you don't get to be good at something without your heart being in it.

At 8 years old i was being forced to learn a lot of instruments by my parents.
I was very good at them but my heart wasn't in it, mainly because i was 8 years old and wanted to be out playing with my friends instead of being forced to practice for 3 hours each evening, i did so for my parents though and pretended i enjoyed it if anyone asked.
Also, at 8 years old you shouldn't have the responsibility of being a bread earner for a family, especially not through violence.

It looks fucking brutal for one.
Secondly, it's the atmosphere of the crowd and their desire to see these kids actually kick the shit out of each other which is different.
This can only be compared to the recent incident with the pub here that was discovered to have children boxing, that's ok as a hobby for kids, when it's being done in order for people to make money from betting on the children things change, the kids are pressured into doing things they shouldn't and it goes too far.
In the video above it isn't a hobby, it's almost a career, with the added pressure of their parents and family needing the money.
Would you allow your child to go into a ring and potentially get a busted nose etc. So you could make some money? If you would you're a cunt.

I mean you obviously know what it's like to be in their position.
It'ld be much better that these farmers just gave their girls over to the sex trade wouldn't it?
Which is much, much, more common place.
Please tell me that you've seen the film and not just the trailer though.
But to answer your question.
Living here in the U.K with a social care system and always having food to provide?
No, but I would let them do it as a sport if they chose with all the nice protection.
Over there?
Having a skill that would help keep the family together?
That they enjoy and are good at?
Would also help them protect themselves and give them confidence?
Yes.
In the scale of horrible things children have to go through it's by no means the worse.
It's no worse than girls in europe that Ballet and are left with crippled feet at the age of 20 and never having had a menstrual cycle..
You want worse to get a sense of moral outrage?
Children raped in the sextrade in vietname.
Child soldiers in Africa

Apparently we're "too specialist" and "not local enough".
We're not happy about the decision, to put things mildly. The BBC local radio audience are not served by any high-quality science reporting outside our show, and from January they will have none at all.

It freaked me out at the time. Apparently there is a similar fungus that affects the Moose on the eastern seaboardd of the USA, it makes them psychotic and irrational, makes them very dangerous to humans and they have been know to attack bears.

I bought Total Life Forever back when they got nominated for the Mercury Prize.
I enjoyed it enough whilst I was listening to it, but I can't say I've gone back to it since, even though there were some cracking songs on there. Landfill Indie? Based on that experience; probably.
As for this track, it was playing on 6 Music this morning when I turned the radio on. I thought U2 had a new album out...

I'd only heard Spanish Sahara prior
Which I thought was alright... just reminded me of Athlete or some other vague melodic band you'll forget beyond their second album.
But I found myself really liking this track. Shame about the annoying generic-East-London-hipster-shite video though. This song was asking for an homage to 80s Michael Mann/Ridley Scott thrillers with that synth running through it if you ask me. Just conjures images of Michael Douglas in ray-bans walking through Tokyo.

It looks beautiful and I can admire it for that, but the plot is unforgivably stupid
and has so many WTF moments you just don't care about the characters. I mean, two guys get left behind and NOBODY NOTICES. They are in an alien environment and they TAKE THEIR HELMETS OFF. The lead archaeologist is a massive nob. Why do they put him in charge? I could go on.
As I said though, beautifully filmed.

I wasn't really grabbed by the hype, but I thought that the teasers were neat. Then I saw it in the theatre and I was a bit disappointed. For a Ridley Scott-sci-fi it just seemed so shallow. That Lost writer should've been smacked with a ruler when he tried to touch this. Not telling people what is happening is not the same thing as being clever.

Finished it.
It's better than what was filmed. Essentially the same but without the general untidiness of the filmed script. You can see where new stuff got shoehorned in and why it ended up a mess.
edit: Lead archaeologist is less of a nob, which is a good thing. David is less ambiguous which is the only slightly rubbish thing. Vickers has a reason to behave like a nob and a real reason for being there. The two guys who get lost still get lost, but in a less rubbish way. All the plot points are there, but all the religious guff and mysterious bollocks has been left out.

I don't think it's necessarily racist.
Republicans targeted the male white vote in this election and it failed for them. As you say, there is very little to choose between the two parties when it comes to policy.
I find it perplexing that merkin people get so polarised about their elections when to the outside world the outcome of their elections seems to make little to no difference.
