As there are some sad cases on here who like Stewart Lee, here is a place specially for these deviants.

He's not funny
For me, the argument about a comedian's merits stops right there. People seem to think that because he slags off a variety of amazingly easy targets he's some sort of comic messiah.

I'm a fan of his.
Have seen him live and very briefly met him and had a chat when he toured last. It was at this point that I realised, "Aha" its a bit of an act. I'm not saying he isn't slightly like that, in the same way Steve Coogan is probably slightly like Alan Partridge in some ways. But a lovely bloke, quietly spoken, just doing a job.

This is a fair point. After hating the Japanese for years over all that unfortunate stuff in the early part of the 20th Century, lots of young Chinese are now quite into Japanese culture. There's also loads of sushi restaurants in Beijing.

Was going to say -
Ursula is a total leg end.
It's a shame there aren't many female sci-fi authors out there - I think that our culture currently promotes it as a male-dominated genre, meaning fewer writers with breasts get into it in the first place. Then again, many writers will choose asexual pen names in order to avoid certain preconceptions about their gender's ability to rite gud. It may be that some of the stuff you read has a man's name on it, but that the writer stashed beef curtains - not a pork sword - in their trousers when the book was written.

"I'm Not the Same Without You," Donald Fagen
I've heard this a few times on the radio and it seems to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. It reminiscent of a teenage love rant.
Why say you?

Scott Kelly is awesome
I'm a Mastodon obsessive and he's all the recent albums as the band are mega Neurosis fans, in fact they may not have gotten together without them apparently.
This new stuff had evaded my awareness

no... there's normally about 6 in the line out...
it leave the option open to either drive the ball (like they have here, but with fewer numbers) or lay the ball off and get it across the pitch in search of a gap...

Why the hell don't they do that more often?
I find rugby an unnecessarily confusing game for one that seems to just be based on brute strength.

Because
If they lost the ball they would have no defence. Basically this is a very high risk strategy which is why you very rarely see it.

That. If they'd have lost possession they wouldn't have been able to defend as New Zealand had men out to the left ready to take the ball.
