yes they may be 80%actual size and have a v6 engine but this would be prety damned good.

I never quite understood people making 90% scale models
Why not just make it 100%? Or, fuck it and go for 110%.

it makes no sense to me
why make something 90% of the original size? why go to all the effort so that you can say "it's actually 90% smaller than the original - isn't that interesting?" and push your glasses up your nose

That landing gear control does sound excessively complex.
The prop pitch control also sounds sub-optimal.
The engine failure though can be directly attributed to an incorrect installation of the Cylinder Head Temperature probes during the build.
In short, I'd not be getting in one unless it had been flown by someone else. A lot.
