...as a 'Bombly bom bombly bom' etc rather than a 'Dum de dum'

Always started dum de dum, then into the bombly bom bombly bom, but dum de dum pops up in the longer recordings.

Until about '66, when it sounds like it was played through a short delay, 2 repeats. Which made it for 15 years bombly bom bombly bom.
