This is a normal post not only is it a mind bogglingly horrible thing to go through
it's going to be their one line fact that'll stick around them forever - they'll be "that band who were at that Paris shooting", not "that band who made that track"

This is a normal post They will hopefully be known as "that band that went back to the bataclan and rocked the shit out of it as a two fingers up to religious tyranny"

This is a normal post I'm trying to think if there is precedent
Altamont's the only case I can think of where something horrible happening at a gig has stuck with a band to any extent.

If they continue, I can see their next album being reviewed in the context of how it impacted them, but I can't see journalists finding much more to say beyond that, especially when one of the songwriters was not there.

This is a normal post I was thinking something similar about the next Nick Cave album.
It's doomed always to be the one from after the death.

This is a normal post That's a sad thought, some of their tracks are supremely good.

This is a normal post Been putting off watching this...
Thanks for posting though. It's powerful stuff.
Don't know what to say or how to feel afterwards, just kinda numb. I met EODM after a show some years ago in the UK. Jessie was one of the nicest, friendliest guys. To see him so evidently broken by such a horrific event is incredibly sad. Same goes for other band members too. I think their sentiments are on point. They seem very humble and I hope they can get through it and continue. Would be the best outcome. Cannot imagine the horror of what it must have been like inside that place. People just out for a good time to enjoy a show. :( Fucking awful.

I had to force my self to watch that. I cried.

Poor bastards.

This is a normal post I finally got through to the end
Took three goes at it. There are some grim, horrific stories, but the band's reaction is utterly human and they have my deepest respect for that.

This is a normal post One of those where 'I like this!' doesn't really fit.
But obviously I clicked. And cried. Ta for posting it.

Between this and my current rewatch of World At War I have utter love, admiration and hope for us as a species, despite the minority of despicable cunts that try to fuck it all up.
