: "YOU ARE AN ARSE"
  Tell your friends

  B3ta editor Rob writes -

"My girlfriend was having a bad day at work
and was annoyed with a client.

"To cheer her up, I made a quick flash thing to
allow her to add their name to a picture of a
  bum.

"Why not try it yourself? It's therapeutic."

: GRAHAM RAWLE INTERVIEW
  'Lost Consonants' bloke speaks

Graham Rawle is an illustrator best known for
his strip in The Guardian. Each week he depicts
a sentence that has had its meaning changed by
  the removal a single letter.

He uses photomontage in his work, making him
a bit of an inspiration to the people on
  our messageboard.

Best bit? Almost all of it, he's a witty man.

-------------------------------------------------

: "I SHAT MY PANTS"
  True confessions of the loose-bowelled

Log - gay web superstar - has been collecting
people's conversations about the times they've
  pooed themselves.

We're not sure why he's doing this. It's as
grim as it sounds, but surprisingly enjoyable
  to read.

  Prepare for the worst.

: WHAT B3TA PEOPLE HAVE BEEN MAKING THIS WEEK
Weebl, Domain name theft, Chair, Psycho

  >> New Weebl, 'Bob's return' <<
This is the penultimate episode of Bob's Week
in France. It's the same old bollocks that we
know and love. BTW: Look out for Weebl posters
coming to a blank wall near you soon. MTV is
  printing 15,000 of the buggers.

  >> Domain squats <<
For some reason this week you lot have been
registering domains in celebrities' names and
sticking your own stuff up there. Er.. great.

  >> Tragic chair animation <<
We found this inexplicably sad. The poor little
chair touched our hearts. Thanks Mr Mantlepies.

  >> Psycho bloke cartoon <<
Mung returns with another well produced and
  slightly odd interview-style animation.

: SITES IN BRIEF
Stuff we like that wasn't made by our mates

  >> One Minute Prose <<
This website has a unique gimmick. It gives you
60 seconds to write about a random word that
appears at the top of the screen. It's surprising
what you think of when the pressure is on.

  >> The Worst Things on the Web 2002 <<
An attack on the most annoying aspects of
using the internet this year: Interstitials,
banner ads, and spam. We found ourselves
agreeing totally with the writer, which was
slightly worrying on a site called Right Wing
  News.

  >> Gothy Cartoon <<
'Freakshow of Pipingrad' is a regular
  newspaper-style cartoon. There's a dreamy,
melancholy feel to the artwork that we like
  very much.

: B3TA IMAGE CHALLENGE
Results from the 'Dr Who Monsters' Challenge

Each week we run a competition to test your
creative skills. We set a challenge and you
open Photoshop and mess with our heads.

Last week we wanted 'Dr Who monsters that

We asked B3ta boarder 'Chthonic' to judge the
entries - here are his 3 faves.

  Chthonic writes -

#1 "Funding Cuts - not a monster per se, but
     lovely, lovely animation. (Maels)

  >> This Week's Challenge <<

This week, B3ta contributor Dr_Phil_Kitten gave us
the suggestion, 'Why I was late for work'

-------------------------------------------------

: WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
  Follow-ups on previous stories

  * GASH OR TASH ON TV - we were very excited
to see our quiz on Graham Norton's UK chat
show. Mark Owen - former Take That star - was
the lucky celebrity to witness its awesome
    moustachy/gashy power.

  * B3TA XMAS PARTY - to the bloke who emailed us
asking, "Can you charter a plane so that all
the Canadian B3tans can travel at half price?"
Er, sorry, the answer is no.
