This is a question Bastard Colleagues

You've all known one. The brown-nosing fucker, the 'comedian', the drunk, the gossip and of course the weird one with no mates who goes bell ringing, looks like Mr Majika and sports a monk's haircut (and is a woman).

Tell us about yours...

Thanks to Deskbound for the idea

This is a question reply in my best 'Wonder Years' voice:
I learned a lot that afternoon on my iMac, frantically typing up puns. I came of age that day. I learned what it means to laugh and be laughed at in return. Most of all, I remember the camaraderie, the shared hilarity and the knowledge that true friendship can always find humour where there is none.

This is a question reply Stop it now....
or I'll hunt you down and kill you.

This is a question reply Pooflake...
You promised you'd stop all this a couple of posts back...
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 14:53, )
This is a question reply DG et al...

You're right...I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself...

This is a question reply This has made me wonder...
Is there an over-arching, all-encompassing formula for shit punnery which can be applied to any QOTW? Is there a template which will work for any set of words, thus saving everyone a bit of time when coming up with convoluted stories which lead into them?

An interesting thought, no? I think Pooflake is inching ever closer to it with this post.

This is a question reply yeah
Δ x Δ p > = h/4π where p is the focus word, x is the resultant pun and delta measures the offset between the two, etc.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 15:46, )
This is a question reply Unfortunately, in my case...

The formula is:

QOTW topic divided by 4, times google, minus any sense of humour, plus getting coat
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 15:49, )
This is a question reply Crackhouse...
...that formula looks an awful lot like Heisenberg's Puncertainty Principle...

This is a question reply Big gold star!
My subtle punning in mathematical form was recognised by a fellow geek!
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 16:08, )
This is a question reply Yep...
...I believe it's usually followed by Pauli's very simple Exclusion Principle, whereby anyone who drops a pun that bad is ostracised from further conversation.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 16:15, )
This is a question reply ouch!
*winces at pun*

remove yourself from decent society immediately.
(, Wed 30 Jan 2008, 16:26, )
This is a question reply I already have...
...after all, I'm on b3ta...
