exactlybecause all other holocaust books leave you depressed, thinking "yeah, they were fucking evil and all that" but this is from totally the other side, all you feel is "how incredible is this bloke? how has he found the strength and courage?"

Read this for Italian at uniand cried: the man's strength is incredible. The bit that really got me was when they were looking at the numbers on their arms and saying "well if we're 60,000 and something and they're 1, 2, 3, where are the ones in between?"
